Person to Person partners with local businesses and faith organizations to collect more than 1,300 new winter coats, hats and mittens for children in need every year. This project provides coats so parents do not have to make the difficult decision between paying rent and purchasing winter coats for their children.
This program is our way of giving back to the community -- being a good neighbor -- as we provide coats for children served by Person to Person as well as children served by other nonprofit organizations. Nonprofit beneficiaries have included: Bundles of Love, Central Community Housing Trust, Crisis Nursery, Minneapolis Children’s Hospital, Saint Joseph the Worker Church, Perspectives, Saint Phillips Patchwork Quilt Program, Reuben Lindh, The Jeremiah Program, Stevens House Co-op, Women of Nations and Thirdway Network.
If your organization is interested in partnering with Person to Person to purchase new, warm winter coats for our Warm Hands Warm Hearts project, please contact our office for details.
